Florida Travel: Welcome to Downtown Flagler Beach

By | March 6, 2020

(cheerful ukulele music) – [Narrator] The sunny
city of Flagler Beach offers a surprise experience, an eclectic day of shopping and dining right on the northeast Florida coast. In brightly colored buildings
just a block off the beach, you can find treasures like this, Frankie Alice’s Beachside Boutique, with an ever-changing selection of trendy clothes for men and women, and super cute jewelry, bags, and sandals. The coastal vibe is so
fun in the shops here, like Bahama Mama’s, which
is filled with whimsical and beachy accessories and clothing. Next door at the Gallery of Local Art, you’ll find all kinds of
creations from local artisans. Toes in the Sand is where you
can get your island style on. They have a huge assortment
of beautiful ukuleles and no shortage of personality. Pace yourself, though. This is a laidback
spot, so pause for lunch at the delicious Flagler Fish Company. They boast more than 20 types of fresh fish and seafood daily. Then off to more specialty
shops with seaside flair, like SeaCasas, which is filled
with beautiful home decor and one-of-a-kind pieces. Don’t miss Vic’s Airbrushing Shop, where you can watch him
customize your own cool creation. Of course, a hard day’s
shopping deserves a treat. Sally’s Ice Cream right across the street from the ocean has a crazy
amount of yummy flavors, and the coolest toppings to boot. This place has a funky vibe and plenty of fun places
to spend some time. Put it on your list, a day in quirky downtown Flagler Beach.
